OEM Roots in CNC Machine Tools
The journey began within the ANCA Group, established in 1974 as an Australian-owned CNC machine tool Original Equipment Manufacturer. This foundation in high-precision engineering set the tone for decades of innovation.

Leadership in Motion Control Technology
The company expanded into the development of motion control software and hardware. By the early 2000s, the organisation had become a pioneer in embedded motion systems, creating the engineering backbone that Corvus would inherit.

Recognising the growing demand for tailored systems, the Group deepened its focus on custom engineering and manufacturing—delivering bespoke sheet metal, control, automation, and mechatronic designs across various industrial applications.

Evolving Corvus Technology Solutions
With the global pandemic acting as a catalyst for change, unique capabilities for manufacturing success were channelled into an initial $31M Federal Government contract for an industry consortium, led by Grey Innovation, to build 2,000 ventilators in Victoria. Building on this diversification, Corvus was founded to leverage unique capabilities into sovereign Defence priorities.
